THE UNCERTAINTIES OF LIFE

I got to the office this morning and I heard about the demise of a colleague, a man in his young age, full of life and vigour.....He is healthy and strong, always conscious of his children until yesterday 3rd April 2016 evening when the cold hands of death grabbed him..... He left his family to drop off somebody and never returned........ The uncertainties of life.. we are here today & we are gone tomorrow... What a life! Most times I wonder ..... Is this life worth all these struggles???? We get up every day, put in all efforts, some even step on peoples' toes, soil their hands, lie, kill physically, mentally or emotionally just to make it. Suddenly we close our eyes to death and leave all these behind. .......The great question remains ...Is this life worth all these struggles??????? This life is full of uncertainties, but there is only one thing that is certain that all mortals must answer this call one day....transition from mortality to eternity. Another frightening truth is "there is another life after here" a life after death.... Eternity!!!!!! Dear reader don't you think it is better we hand over our life to Jesus who is our certainty in confusion?....Our certainty amidst this life of uncertainties This is more than going to church..belonging to one association in the church, picking a position or title in the church, paying tithe and offering. Christianity is a life. The bible says we should work out our salvation with fear & trembling. It is stated categorically that without holiness no eyes shall see the lord..... Friends, Is it not better we live our lives being conscious of the fact that there is a supreme being to whom we will give account of the way we lived our life and even if at the end of the day it does not happen that way we lose nothing?????? It is a fearful truth.....Once a man is born the soul never dies
