THE MIGHTINESS OF GOD

A being is said to be mighty when the being is in possession of great and impressive power. It pricks my heart when I see how some regenerated children of God see the abilities of our God. Some place their problem above the capacity of our God. I want to remind us about the mightiness of our God. We will be looking at the confession of Rahab, a prostitute, a woman that can be described as a heathen but she was conscious of what God can do…“For we have heard how the Lord dried up the red sea for you and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed.….The lord your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth Beneath” (Joshua 2 verse 10-11). These were the exact confession of Rahab. She was convinced of the abilities of the God, she understood what God is competent of doing and she secured her future. Sweetheart I do not know what you are going through, where did you place your God? Are you seeing your God above your predicaments? Are you conscious of the mightiness of your God? He is the all-powerful God, He is greater than any situation that is currently disturbing you, he rules the kingdom of men and giveth it to whomever he wishes. He is the king of kings whose kingship has no end, when pharaoh asked Moses “who is that your God that I should fear him?” series of horrors took place in his kingdom. Stand on your feet and take advantage of the abilities of our God who is your father. He is bigger than your mountains, see our God as a make away God, a mountain mover and very soon you will see that mountain melting away. Keep Succeeding Friends
